Cycle Friendly Kingussie Projects

Our projects are now well underway for 2015 after we successfully won funding last November to develop "Cycle Friendly Kingussie".  See Mike's Blog on the Cairngorms website.

Cycle Training

Cycle Friendly Kingussie is now funding professional training in Velotech Silver Cycle Maintenance and First Aid for local people.  The first meetings for volunteers have now taken place during March with an encouraging turnout. Some Bike maintenance training has also now taken place with plenty more to come. See the Bikefest Facebook page for more details and photos.

Activity Calendar

The Cycle Friendly Kingussie spring 2015 Activity Programme  has now launched with a number of cycle ride-outs taking place over the next few months. All will be organised events with Cycle Ride Leaders and there will be a good mix of mountain bike trails and road routes to cater for all abilities.
More details and the option to book a place are available for all events on the Bikefest facebook page. All events are free.
